Big River RCMP seek help identifying robbery suspect

Big River RCMP are asking the public for help finding a suspect in an armed robbery at a Debden, Saskatchewan business on September 23.

The release says Big River RCMP were notified of an armed robbery at a Debden business around 11 p.m. on September 23, 2026. Officers who responded determined an adult male had threatened an employee with a knife, then took cash and left in a truck. Police received no reports of physical injuries.

Police describe the suspect as an adult male in a black sweater and jeans, with a red and black hat. Police say he fled in a grey Chevrolet Sierra. Neither the suspect nor the truck had been located as of the release.

Anyone with information about the robbery, or anyone who noticed suspicious activity around Debden late on September 23 or early on September 24, is asked to call 310-RCMP. Big River RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
