Privacy
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no accounts. Reading it tells us nothing about you. This page explains the little that is collected anyway, and by whom.
What we collect when you read
Nothing directly. The site is a set of static pages. There is no tracking script, no advertising, no cookie banner because there are no cookies, and nothing that follows you from one page to the next.
What is collected by the companies that deliver the site
Hosting. The pages are served by Vercel. Like any web server, it records the address your request came from, the page requested, the time, and what browser you used. These logs exist to keep the site running and to detect abuse. We do not use them to identify readers. Vercel's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy.
Typefaces. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser asks Google's servers for the font files, and Google sees the same request details any server would. Google's statement on what it does with those requests is the reference.
That is the complete list. No other third party receives anything when you read this site.
If you write to us
If you email info@saskatchewanherald.com — a tip, a correction, a right of reply — we keep the correspondence. Reporting depends on being able to show, later, what was said and when. We do not share a correspondent's details with anyone, and we do not publish a name without permission unless the person is already named in the reporting and is responding to it.
If you send us a tip in confidence, say so, and it stays that way.
Links to other sites
Every article lists its sources, and those are links to other organisations' websites. Once you follow one, their rules apply, not ours.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for correspondence to be deleted. Write to info@saskatchewanherald.com. Because we hold so little, the honest answer to most requests will be "nothing" or "the emails you sent us".
Changes
If what the site collects ever changes — for instance, if analytics were added — this page changes first and says so. Last updated 14 September 2026.
