Reading and sharing
The site is free to read and there is no account. You may link to any page, share links anywhere, and quote from articles with attribution and a link to the original. For anything beyond a quotation — republishing an article, reusing a photograph — write to info@saskatchewanherald.com first.
Copyright
Text is © Saskatchewan Herald unless a page says otherwise. Photographs carry their own credit and licence beneath them; where a picture is used under a Creative Commons or similar licence, that licence governs its reuse, not these terms. The 1878 masthead reproduced on the front page is a historical document in the public domain.
Accuracy, and people named in reporting
We report from named sources — releases, court records, public documents — and list them on every article. Where a person has been charged, the charges are allegations until a court decides otherwise, and we say so. Where a case has since been decided, an editor's note carries the outcome. Anyone named in an article has a right of reply, described in our corrections policy.
Nothing here is legal advice. If a story concerns a matter you are involved in, consult a lawyer, not a newspaper.
Corrections
We correct errors of fact on the article itself, with a note saying what changed and when. We do not silently edit and we do not delete the record. The full process is in the corrections policy.

Links to other sites are provided as sources and for context. We do not control them and linking is not endorsement.
